Fantasy and Its Evidence is a spatial and experience design project that showcases the culture related to fantasies and objects in myths.
Fantasy and Its Evidence
By collecting an archive of fake evidence of fantasies, Fantasy and Its Evidence exhibition would like to challenge museums’ authority in selecting and showing the truths. The exhibition also embraces humans’ fantasies as a part of the recognized culture.
To create the feeling of entering a different world, the majority area of the exhibition is dark. Audiences need to use the light to see more information on the walls and move forward. By doing this interaction, audiences are rewarded by their curiosity and encouraged to discover. Also, the intentional dim light environment separates the reality and this exhibition. When audiences go back to the outside, because of the amount of light changed, they will feel like going back to the real world.
